I wanted to upgrade my Fender Vintera. I have had these before and I loved these.. The set I got the plastic box was NOT sealed. The leads had been cut so short that I needed to splice extra wire to them. Pretty sure they do not come that way. I wired these in and the bridge pickup comes on like gangbusters. The neck pickup was almost non existent and 5.2 ohms. Les than half of what it is supposed to read. I'm thinking I got set that had been installed and returned because of this problem and then whomever took them and re-sold them not in working order. I lost money on this set and I had to buy another set from someone reputable. That set indeed ha longer leads and both pickups worked as they were supposed to.

Fender quality shows thru in these pickups . They product an excellent sound like expected from the Fender name . I’ve used them in other builds and love them . Eliminates need to install shielding in the pockets and that’s time saving . Will continue to use them .

I bought these pickups to replace the original equipment in a no-name project bass I put together. NO UNWANTED NOISE. Nice and clean. Price was right.Honestly, I'll probably pull them back out and use them in another bass that will actually be playable. No fault to these pickups. Sometimes you can only polish a turd just so much. At least she's pretty.
