I've been playing guitar since 1968. I am a studio musician and have played and owned so many different makes of guitar, and so many different styles. But I have never heard any guitar sound as good as this Gretsch! A wide variety of tones! Lows can be ultra low if that's what you're looking for, and the highs can be piercing if that's what you want. I wish I had known about this guitar 40 years ago – I could've skipped a lot of the others!

I love this guitar and I have warranty, I'm so attached I don't want it to go but I have to leave the chord in because there is no way to tighten it as its a solid body. I'll have to send it off so just make sure you pull the chord back as it seems to be a an issue with many others as well. Beautiful sound! easy play! Feels like my first real guitar after owning 5 other electrics.
