  • Four slender slits on the side that allow water to seep in
  • Handy infuser to enjoy the more pronounced taste
  • Clever design
  • Measures approximately .75 by 5-inches

The Tea Stick is an elegant and eminently functional tea infuser. A little more aesthetically pleasing than those metal tea balls on a chain, it has four slender slits on the side that allow water to seep in. The clever design works whether you're brewing two inches of tea or a whole cup. Why drink tea from a tea bag when you can use this handy infuser to enjoy the more pronounced taste and nuances of full leaf tea?

This little guy is a cute, fun addition to my kitchen gadgets. And it also works great to brew tea! I love that the arms can prop the infuser into my cup. Great little gift idea for a tea lover. I don't recall how quickly it shipped, so I can't vouch for that. But everything else about it makes it a keeper.

I bought this for my mother who had gotten into drinking tea. It is super cute! When it came it was a lot smaller than I had thought it would be. You can't put that much tea into it. His arms prevent him from going down too far into the cup. She found it easier to only have one hand holding the top of the cup so more of him could get into the water. He comes with a tray that fits his body and only his body. The tray could be a little bigger. Besides him being small he works perfectly fine. You can only use dry tea leaves not the bags. (I wasn't sure if you'd be able to use a tea bag in it)

What can I say about this little robot? He is small, cleverly designed, and makes a mean cup of tea!He is the perfect size to hold a decent amount of tea and almost ensures a perfect cup when you feel him. The stainless steel is easy to clean and setting up/feeling the infuser takes about 15 seconds. The arms bend enough to allow him to fit almost any cup. The arms, however, are rigid and not flexible, so sometimes it is hard to get the infuser deep enough in the water to get it to saturate all of the tea leaves. If there is one thing I would suggest improving, it would be making the arms flexible and allowing a perfect fit to the cup. Also, some blinking lights would be cool (joking.... or am I?).The Kikkerland Robot Tea Infuser does its job well and allows you to enjoy your favorite cup of tea.

This is a cute tea infuser, but I've found that once the loose tea rehydrates, it becomes too heavy to continue floating, and it sinks to the bottom of my cup! Nonetheless, it does the necessary job and doesn't take up too much space.

This is adorable. It works well to steep the tea and it looks like a cute little robot hanging out in a mug-shaped hot tub (don't think too much about electricity to avoid taking that thought to its logical and macabre conclusion). I like how the hands grab the mug rim and the arms suspend the tea in the middle of the cup rather than at the bottom or top of the water like some other infusers do. Some smaller tea leaves or tea dust can escape through the holes, but no more than is usual with other infusers. Easy to clean (his antennae are the opening clasp and he folds open and shut, hinges at the feet). Comes with a drip tray.

As soon as this little guy came in the mail he got a good washing and we went for a test run and it was flawless. This is a great tea infuser. I love it! It is large enough to accommodate plenty of loose tea and large fruit chunks and you could even put tea bags in it if you are like me and hate dealing with the string and mushy bag after the tea has steeped. Plus, it just looks so awesome! No complaints from me, the only thing I would say is you would need to be careful in wash and use as the hinge at the bottom that holds the parts together is small and when you open the infuser it does move around quite a bit so it would be somewhat breakable in the hands of kids or if you are in a rush washing it up. Other than that, no worries from me so far and I can't wait to use it again! This is a great purchase!

The monkey is very cute. i received lots compliments. I used to have ball tea filter. The chain tangles, or break, or slip of the rim, drive me crazy. No more fuss. This monkey is good. I should say the hands fit better for a 20 oz diameter BIG mug, so the arms are too long for my regular mug. Then again the water cools too quickly if use 20 oz Big mug. I just let the arms rest on the mug rim and let the hands dangle over the mug. You can adjust tea strongness by fill the tea leafs to tummy and head or just the tummy or just the head part. Tray is a little too small, monkey for some reason doesn't stand well on it. Wish the tray is bigger for the monkey to lay on it. But that is OK. I am glad it is stainless steel, rust free. I bought two. After few weeks of usage, I found out if I let the monkey hands dangle over the mug, the tea leaves in the monkey head never sim in the water, because the monkeys hands can not bend close enough to its head to let the head sink into the water. So I fold the hands, and let the monkey dive into the water entirely.

Very cute little tea strainer. It doesn't get a full 5 stars because most of the tea I have (black tea) is kind of fine and there is a lot of seeping from this little guy into the water. But if you have bigger loose leaf tea, it would work better. It's cute and a fun novelty but the construction is a bit flimsy and I have doubts about how long it will really last. In addition, it's hardly the most convenient tea strainer I own. But, if this product speaks to you, and you must have it, then go ahead and buy it. You will enjoy it (even if you don't use it all the time). Excellent gift for the tea lover, too.

Loved this idea when I saw it on Amazon. Bought 4 of them, one for me and 3 to give away as gifts. I love mine and use it all the time (it still makes me smile every single time I use it). Everyone I gave one to loves theirs exactly as much as I love mine. I have seen other people commenting that their steepers leak the loose leaf tea and spoil their experience. I didn't have that problem, neither did I hear that complaint from any of the three people who got these robot steepers as gifts from me. Even if mine did leak though, I wouldn't be troubled by that since in my opinion that wouldn't ruin my tea.I recommend this with complete confidence, especially as an impressive, inexpensive, cute, conversational piece gift.
