These cycle pliers were uncharacteristically poorly made by Knipex. The machining seemed quite rough and the tooth alignment between the pliers halves was poor. If it was $15 I might have kept it, but not at those prices. I guess it wold do the job in a crude/basic sort of way. I'm surprised as all my other Knipex tools are pretty well made for the most part. I guess nobody is perfect.

Diese Knipex-Zange 84 21 200 ist qualitativ enttäuschend. Beide Backen sind schief geschliffen. Zudem ist das Gelenk so schwergängig, dass eine Bedienung mit einer Hand kaum möglich ist. Was mich außerdem überrascht hat, es ist keine Typenbeschreibung auf den Griff vorhanden. Wahrscheinlich eine Umwelt inspirierte Maßnahme… Die Zange ging zurück.

Like all Knipex tools this set of pliers is solid and well-made. Handy for firmly holding objects at an angle like when securing a piece for a grinder or using a wire brush wheel. Beats chewing up your hands and fingers. Only drawback I found was that my set of pliers don't open and close freely. Have oiled and lubed several times, but the action is still very tight. The 20 degree offset also allows you to easily hold small nails and brads with one hand while hammering them down with the other.

Sent my crescent pliers to my home toolbox, these are in my box at work, they work great.
