This silicone popcorn maker does have some versatility, which is an excellent thing since it doesn’t really work for us for popcorn. It’s SO SMALL! It barely holds enough popcorn for one person, let alone 2! That being said, though, the popcorn it makes does come out light and fluffy in a matter of a couple of minutes, and most of the kernels popped without any burning. It is easy to use, easy to wash up, and the fact that it’s collapsible makes storage easier. It can be hung on a little hook with the tab provided, or it can slide right into a drawer or cupboard. It steams vegetables like a dream!!! Just adjust the lid to create the necessary suction to keep steam in rather than allowing it to escape. While we may use this periodically for popcorn, it will be most useful for veggies.🥦 🥕🌽

The material is of excellent quality. I love the fact that it is expandable making it very easy to store.However, my satisfaction ends there. Maybe I am strange but when I purchase a product I like to have a bit of an idea of how to use it. Instructions please!!!! With the exception on the ad page to be certain to put the lid on ( kind of a a given) there are no instructions - no suggestion of how much oil , how much popcorn, to add. The item came in a plain box with no instructions. I realize microwaves differ a bit in temperature but a suggested quantity could be stated- other brands do. I suppose that I am to do "Ms. D's test kitchen" and hope for the best...... I will update.

It takes a while for the corn to pop. I have a microoven with a sensor, but I have to press the popcorn button twice. nice as a container and easy to clean

I love my popcorn. But I don’t love making popcorn on the stove top. And I don’t like bagged microwave popcorn for obvious reasons. So I had a lot of hope for this product. Sadly, it didn’t turn out to be what I expected it to be. It does not pop popcorn well in the microwave, which is its main use. I tried different times, with and without oil, salt and no salt, and the results were disappointing every time. It barely pops any popcorn and burns the rest of the kernels. As a popcorn holder, the container is barely enough for one serving. If you are a fan of popcorn, this is not big enough for you. I haven’t tried it yet for microwaving other foods, but it could be useful that way. It’s a cute design and it can be cleaned in a dishwasher, which I like.

This was a huge disappointment. It did not perform at all as described. First, it comes with no instructions, so one has to either review the listing on Amazon or Google instructions. I tried this twice. The first time, I used a small amount of popcorn oil and popcorn and the popcorn setting on my microwave while watching it carefully. The few kernels that did pop burned and most of them did not pop. The second time, a few more popped, but not enough to make this worthwhile. I do not recommend at all.

I haven't been able to test it out yet. In part, because there are no instructions on how much popcorn I can put in, time setting, etc. So I think it will have to be trial and error. The silicone material seems pretty good and it's easy to collapse and expand. I'll update in the future on how it performs after testing it out.

The popper with lid were the only things in the box - no instructions, no anything. There were no directions printed on the box. I had a product and didn't know how to use it. Do I start with a collapsed bowl in the mw or is that for simple storage? On the Amazon order page, Li&Zhao told what to put in the popper, but gave no quantities or times.I put in 1/4 cup of popcorn seeds, along with a little over a tsp of oil, a tbsp butter (cut up) for butter flavor and a little salt. 3 mins in the mw.When I took it out, only about half the kernels had popped. But what had popped were fluffy. I won't put butter in again. There was some dark residue at the bottom of the popper but fortunately the popcorn didn’t have a burnt flavor because I caught it in time. The popcorn didn’t have any flavor. I added salt and 2 spritzes of liquid butter flavoring, and shook up the popcorn. After that, the popcorn was delicious!The bowl is hard to empty because of the lip at the top opening. Unpopped kernels can’t just slide out.I tested again with the bowl flattened. Nope, that’s not what it’s for. A collapsible bowl is pointless unless you have little storage in a very small kitchen. I sprinkled butter flavored powder before the mw, but still couldn’t taste it on the popped corn. I tried again with the bowl full size, 1/3 c kernels and a couple tbsps oil. I stopped it at 3.5 mins. The popcorn was good, but maybe it’s due to the kind of popcorn I bought.I have nothing to compare this to, so all I can say is, I think this will become an easy to use popcorn maker. But it’s nothing special.

I love this little thing! My only gripe is that it didn’t come with instructions, so my first try was with 1/4 c popcorn and 1 Tbs popcorn oil for 3 minutes on high. It burned about half of the popcorn. My second attempt was a complete success, however! I used 2 Tbs popcorn and about 1-1 1/2tsp popcorn oil and I again put in on high for 3 minutes. It was perfect! So, to be fair, it popped the kernels absolutely perfectly once I narrowed down the amount of popcorn and oil, this bowl performed perfectly. Yay!
