There is nothing in the description on Amazon with a warning to not look directly into the lights, it was included with the paper sent with the product. These were gifts for 3 and 5 years old but I was afraid they’d get their retinas burned, sent them back.

These give off a lot of light. They worked great in the Lava Tubes in Hawaii!

We were very happy with these lights. We purchased them for our 2 and 4 year olds to bring on our trip in the North Woods and it was a great choice. It was nice that we could count on them having them and not have to hold them. Very good purchase!

Brighter than I expected! Nice solid lights at a good price. Bought for grandkids, ages 6 and 8, for camping. I would have given 5 stars but they are a bit heavy for kids.

Kids loved them and they are very bright! Took them to the beach and they worked great for catching ghost crabs!
