I like making popcorn with oil and being able to put salt and butter inside as the popcorn is cooking. When the corn is popped it is 100% ready to enjoy.Microwave dry popcorn is not tasty, I ate it for years. Olive oil or coconut oil is healthy and our bodies need the healthy fats. Butter can be optional.I am very happy with this popper, I can make a lot of popcorn or I can make a little popcorn. There is a small learning curve when using the popper. Now it’s easy peasy.

I found that this worked really well and didn't have any issues. As soon as you stop hearing the popping, grab the heating plate and bowl together and flip them over rather quickly. You don't want to leave the popcorn laying on the heating plate or else they'll burn or get kind of funky. Be careful too, the plate will be hot. I found it all to be really easy though and didn't have issues with any of this. It's hands down better than microwave popcorn. We love this thing.

I purchased this because I needed to have a snack that was low and fat content, this product work great, from day one, almost every single kernel pop, every single time! However, the lid and the cover for using it as a bow, very low quality!Holding the lid with one hand, ill-advisable .If you hold the lid buy us end, where the side protrudes, it will crack!This is a problem, simply because, the only thing in the lid, is, popcorn! Popcorn is not heavy popcorn is light and fluffy by nature, so why would this lid not be designed to handle the weight of the popcorn especially if a party were handling the lid from the protruding holding section with one hand? I will tell you, because the designers did not take it into consideration, like you're Orville REDENBACHER or your STIR CRAZIES, is why. AND THAT'S A SHAME, because as I said, this is the one that pops almost every single colonel, every single time, is lightweight, doesn't take up a lot of space. However, the lid, the little black cover, will warp over time and not stay affixed, this is a design flaw with every single one that I've tested - four so far - but out of the four, this one was the best by far.
