I had several DOA in my batch of 20 + 1 mystery snail. It took some time for the seller to respond (packaging says response time is 24 hours, it took a week), but they refunded for the DOA's and the rest are thriving and happy. I would buy from them again.

The shrimp were triple bagged, so they arrived safely without any water leaking. They're on the young side so there's a chance that their colors will get better as they grow. A few shrimpies didn't make it, but I'm not complaining since plenty extras were shipped. The colors in my batch were mostly red, blue, orange, and a few yellow, white.

The snail was DOA unfortunately. As soon as I opened the package it smelled really bad. I quickly put the snail in my aquarium, air bubbles coming out and the shell just barely was floating above the bottom, indicating that the snail was in fact dead. I wish I had gotten a photo, but I threw it out because it really did smell bad and hadn't moved after about 20 minutes confirming it was dead. I didn't want it sitting there rotting in my tank.About 6 shrimp died. 3 during shipping and 3 more while I was acclimating them. It's a shame that the biggest yellow pregnant one was among one of the ones to die during acclimation. The rest seem in great condition and are doing well 12 hours later. No more have died. I guess the ones that died during acclimation were already weak. They may not have eaten anything during the 4 days or so it took to arrive. I did feed them while acclimating them (poured them out into a large Tupperware and fed them a small algae tablet to which they swarmed towards, putting a little bit of my aquarium water in with their water every 20-30 minutes for 3 hours before adding them to the tank). During those 3 hours 3 died. Honestly with 14 or so remaining out of 20 isn't too bad but could be way better. I think it's because they were starved. The snail was packed in basically NO water and wrapped in a napkin. The snail needs water! It ran out of oxygen. Snails need more oxygen than shrimp that size do. A card inside indicated they purposely packaged it this way to avoid ammonia spikes. The snail could have been packaged in the same bag as the shrimp honestly and been fine, as long as they throw an algae tablet. I understand snails produce more waste than shrimp but the shrimp would probably eat it, especially if they were shipped with food for several days. I believe all 20 shrimp would have survived had there been food or even small plant clippings included with them to feed on.

Two shrimp were lost in transit; however, the remaining shrimp are thriving and exhibiting vibrant dark red and blue coloration. The yellow shrimp were almost overlooked. The snail displayed active feeding behavior. I'm satisfied with ny purchase

I had bought 20 neocardina shrimp from another supplier and 17 died within 24 hours, because the seller kept giving me some back and forth in the communication, I decided to try another supplier and not ask I glad I did!I'm comparing everything to the first supplier in this review...The packaging, instead of a double bag packed with newspaper, swimming creatures puts the double bag inside a bubble wrap bag inside some safe insulation with a heat pack inside a durable box!The shipping, the other guy sent via USPS. I'm not dissng the mail people but they park the trucks for a long time while the mail person delivers to 3 blocks of houses, that's a long time to be sitting in an unheated truck.Swimming creatures sent overnight air through FedEx. Sure they might not be heated that will either but they don't cool down too much as they aren't sitting for that long.Quality, the other guy had twenty of the shrimp with multiple colors, but the colors were somewhat spotted.Swimming creatures are solid and bright colorsBottom line is pretty simple. If these guys don't multiply as much as they say they do, I'll be buying more from swimming creatures!

It seems that shrimps are getting pretty expensive nowadays. I can’t find these blue shrimps for anywhere less than seven dollars each at my fish stores. I ordered 10 on here for less than half the price. Not only that, but I got three extra for free, & two of them are pregnant. AND!! I found three baby shrimps swimming around as well. So now I have way too many lol. I was surprised that only one shrimp died in the transport process. I think it was like 4-5 days & its upper 80s outside. They all have a nice color. Super happy

Seller very responsive, just text pictures of DOA but in my case it was FedEx to blame as this seller had been very good at packaging the fish or shrimp I order and just this one time the bag came leaking into second bag and some of the shrimp seemed squished so I had to emergency rescue them immediately but thankfully even with shipper’s abuse (FedEx in Houston don’t don’t care and toss our orders and I’ve gotten many thing beat up and broken yet the fish survive them even if shipped a day late)Only 2 whole shrimp DOA surprisingly but I only counted 6 but it was hard to count because shipper probably threw packages and that’s how the bag broke inside. The color is darker than I expected but still healthy and lovely. I’m going to let these grow bigger before adding them to my main tank and try to separate any berried shrimp (pregnant) to avoid babies getting eaten by my 2 large hungry dojo loaches. This seller send me panda loaches and my boyfriend added those to the tank and they were healthy but so small I was afraid they’d get eaten but those are still alive and kicking today! Great value and decent customer service for an Amazon seller. Bets to message or text them and not call FYI

These shrimp look great and came sooner than expected. I was sent 10 and 1 was DOA. I was a little surprised as so many reviews said they were sent extras and I was not. Not a huge deal but I expected at least 10 live ones when I opened them. I can tell that one was carrying babies and they are all in the water. I'm not supposed to dump the water into my tank but I want to keep the babies.... haha. I'm excited to add these to my tank.
