For what it is this is not worth more than $25.00 considering that there’s only 6 available mounting points available, 3 on the side and 3 on top. Forget about this and better get an L bracket.

I recently tried out this camera rig setup with my new Sony A7C Mark 2, and it has transformed the way I'm able to shoot videos. The variety of mounting options it provides is truly a game-changer for anyone in film or content creation. The ability to mount accessories via cold shoe receivers, NATO rail, and 1/4"-20 threads with locating points gives me the flexibility to customize my setup depending on the shoot requirements. This is incredibly helpful for attaching everything from microphones to additional lights without the rig feeling cluttered or unbalanced.The HDMI clamp is another feature that stands out. It secures HDMI cables neatly in place with a convenient thumb screw design, ensuring that connections are not loose during critical shooting moments. This small detail saves a lot of hassle and prevents accidental unplugging or damage to the ports on my camera, which can happen in the hustle of moving setups or changing locations.The NATO top handle and ARCA baseplate are excellent additions as well. The top handle not only expands my mounting options but also improves flexibility in operating and handling the camera, especially during dynamic shots. The ARCA baseplate supports 15mm rod-based accessories and transitions smoothly to my DJI Ronin, which is perfect for moving from handheld to stabilizer shots in no time.Choosing between the Half Camera Cage, Full Camera Cage, Lightweight Kit, or Basic Kit allowed me to select the perfect setup for my particular needs. Each configuration has its advantages, and the modular nature of the system means I can upgrade or change components as my requirements evolve. This rig is well-built, thoughtfully designed, and a worthwhile investment for any serious filmmaker looking to enhance their production quality.

I use a lot of Tilta equipment for filming (cages, nucleus nano, car rigs gimbal accessories etc) and they're always great quality products. This camera cage is no exception. I really like the Tilta Cage I have for the Sony A9M2 because it has well placed fixing holes and nato rails that make sure everything fits securely together. This cage for my A7CII is no different. It's nice and lightweight, has enough fixing points for all my monitor and accessories. What's not to like? But I'm especially appreciative of the built in baseplate on the bottom, allowing me to attach it directly to my Ronin gimbal, saving precious weight. Love it.

I am really happy with the Tilta half camera cage for my Sony A7CR! Tilta makes high-quality camera cages, and this example is no exception.There are a number of factors that I found pleasing when I received this cage and opened the box:* It provides additional protection for my camera body, insulating it somewhat from bumps and scratches.* The ARCA-Swiss baseplate and the variety of attachment points allow me to easily attach additional accessories like microphones, lights, or external monitors.* The rounded edges and secure grip can make my camera comfortable to hold, if I need to use my camera off of a tripod, but don't want to completely remove the cage.* The cable connection bracket helps to prevent any HDMI or USB cables from accidentally getting disconnected. This bracket can be easily removed or attached depending on your shooting situation.* Fit and finish is exceptional, clearly manufactured with quality in mind.Overall, I have found this Tilta half camera cage to be a valuable addition to my Sony A7CR setup, and I highly recommend this for anyone looking for a compatible camera half cage.

I'm a big fan of Tilta cages. The design is beautiful and functional for both stills and video use. My only complaint is that I wish that I wish that you could use their top handle without having to buy any extra accessories, but other than that what comes in the box gets the job done!
