Your cart is empty.The Voigtlander Fujifilm X mount 18mm F2.8 Color-Skopar is a small compact lens of outstanding handling and optical performance. Its traditional manual focus with 1/3 stop aperture ring offers rangefinder like handling, especially with its quick handling rangefinder style focusing tab. It is chipped for most Fujifilm X cameras. Available in black or silver, close focus is 6.7”. Filter size is 43mm. 10 Aperture blades provide great bokeh. Included are a compact style dome lens hood and lens cap. Field of view is 28mm equivalent on full frame. I bought the Voigtlander 18/f2.8 pancake lens to be part of an ultra compact kit, also comprising my Fujifilm XT-5, the Voigtlander 27/f2.0 pancake lens, and my favorite telephoto lens, Fuji’s ultrafast 56/f1.2 WR. This provides me with a light, extremely compact, and versatile kit for everyday use or travel. If I replace the 56 with my Fuji 50/f2.0, I have a lighter and even more compact kit. Skip the telephoto and the resulting two lens kit is almost pocketable!This 18/f2.8 lens is an excellent performer, having similar characteristics of good design, handling, tactile feel, and sharpness to those that I described in my recent review of the Voigtlander 27/f2.0 pancake lens, but in a wider focal length. Like that lens, it also has a fairly good close focusing distance, while maintaining excellent image quality.This lens a pleasure to use, and I can highly recommend it for Fujifilm X users looking for a compact and discreet wide angle lens for everyday use. In particular, paired with Voigtlander’s 27/f2.0 pancake lens, it enables one to minimize the size and weight of a camera kit without sacrificing too much in performance.

An ideal 28mm on x-pro camera. Tiny, light, great image quality. Easy to manual focus with focus peaking.
