古めのグレコのベースについていたPUとの交換ですが、音が太く、でも前に出てくるようになり価格を考えると大満足です。あとサイズが少し小さめなので、ザグリの小さ目のベースでもボディーを削らずに取り付けられます。

The covers did not fit properly, but my old ones fit on the new ones. Sound good so far but i am getting a little pop once in a while. More volume but i replaced the pots too. For the price I am pleased so far.

These are great pickups for the value! Wilkinson variable gauss have a fat bottom end and enough snap for the funkiest funkers out there! Musiclily was superb with support as usual. Just sad I couldn’t give more stars!

Der Sound ist in Ordnung. Klar, DiMarzios sind ne ganz andere Hausnummer... Die Wilkinsons lösen gut auf, haben einen eher "modernen" Sound, gute Hochmitten, nicht zu viel Bass. Lediglich der Eindruck, dass die tiefen Saiten lauter wiedergegeben werden, als die hohen, trübt den Gesamteindruck.Tipp: Das doppelte ausgeben, dann gibt's bei EMG oder DiMarzio richtig was gutes.

The point of writing this review was to point out how they fit in this application and does not reflect how well they function. The 3 star ratingI bought this for updating my wife's Ibanez Mikro which we had purchased second hand. A previous owner had done a horrible rework job which prompted me to do a complete tear down to clean it up and rebuild it to her liking.I did not actually wire these pickups and test them as the fit is definitely not what was desired. The ears where the screws go through are much smaller than original and leave a considerable gap. Since they don't fit, I am returning them.I added a photo with dimensions as measured with my digital calipers.Hopefully the information is of use.

I bought this as a temporary solution while having my original rewound. It’s surprisingly good, and for the money, it’s outstanding.

I bought these as a replacement for the original fit pickups on a very cheap precision bass. I had never been able to balance the outputs from all four strings as the pickups had a small foam block underneath and I was not able to get the pickups high enough without them rattling about.These Wilkinson pickups come with new screws and nice long springs which allowed me to adjust the output from each string just as I wanted. I am not a professional player but I do know what I like and these are great value and the bass sounds better after fitting them.
