Serious anti vibration mount. Mead of heavy duty metal, with metal rope springs, this mount is made to be in intermediary between another mount and your camera, or a gimbal. There is no way to attach this directly to any surface, so you will either need a 1/4 20 suction base or quick plate on the bottom. On top, is the same issue where you will need to attach a gimbal or camera using 3/8 screw. Once you figure out your rigging, this will definitely help dampen the larger bumps, your gimbal will handle the lighter vibrations. Quality design and manufacturing from a solid company, but remember this only works with a bunch of additional support gear.

I have used this to capture screen recordings with a DSLR while mounted in construction/agricultural equipment. This mount helps to take the "motor" vibration out of the shot.
